Kent City waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Chippewa Hills Warriors. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Kent City pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Chippewa Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kent City will square off against Orchard View at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Chippewa Hills, they are taking a road trip to take on Newaygo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.73 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
