The Pacifica Christian Tritons made easy work of the Santa Fe Chiefs on Saturday and carried off a 10-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Tritons, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.
John Coopman made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs.
