After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Patrick, St. Mary was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Mesick Bulldogs. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory got St. Mary back to even at 3-3. As for Mesick, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, St. Mary will look to defend their home field on Monday against Onekama at 4:15 p.m. As for Mesick, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 defeat against Glen Lake on the 3rd.
