While Uintah's win against Stansbury wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Uintah Utes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Stansbury Stallions on Friday. With that win, the Utes brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Kynlee Bristol, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Rylee Miller was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Uintah now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Stansbury, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.

Coming up, Uintah will take on Enterprise at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stansbury, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Crimson Cliffs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
