The Rangeview Raiders will face off against the Denver South Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rangeview has 16 straight victories, Denver South has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Rangeview is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Northfield, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Rangeview was ranked second). Rangeview simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Northfield 88-59. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Rangeview found their leader in freshman Marceles Duncan, who went 11 for 13 on his way to 24 points in addition to five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Duncan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Archie Weatherspoon V, who went 5 of 8 en route to 15 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Rangeview was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Denver South came up short against Vista PEAK Prep on Friday and fell 73-63.
Rangeview will need focus on slowing down Jayden Davis, one of several Denver South players who made an impact when they last played. He went 8 for 12 on his way to 18 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Davis a new career-high in points. Brody Shepherd was another key player, going 5 of 11 en route to 16 points and five assists.
Rangeview's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points per game. As for Denver South, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Rangeview and Denver South are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Rangeview hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 75.2 points per game. However, it's not like Denver South struggles in that department as they've been averaging 69.1 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Rangeview strolled past Denver South when the teams last played back in January by a score of 78-61. Will Rangeview repeat their success, or does Denver South have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
