Softball Recap: Salmen Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Salmen, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Bogalusa Lumberjacks with a sharp 21-1 win on Thursday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Lumberjacks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Salmen back to even at 1-1. As for Bogalusa, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Salmen will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Hermon at 9:00 a.m. on March 8th. Bogalusa will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Independence at 5:00 p.m. on March 11th.
