Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Apalachee

Apalachee had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

While Apalachee won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-11.

Apalachee's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Monroe Area, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apalachee will take on Walnut Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monroe Area, they will challenge Bethlehem Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
