The Potlatch Loggers will be playing at home against the Logos Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Potlatch will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Saturday, Potlatch faced Lapwai in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Potlatch fell 57-45 to Lapwai. Potlatch has struggled against Lapwai recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Logos didn't have too much trouble with Prairie at home on Saturday as they won 60-43. Given Logos' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Prairie is ranked 110th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Potlatch's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-1. As for Logos, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Potlatch didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Logos in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 62-58 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Logos' Seamus Wilson, who dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 13 rebounds, and ten assists. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Potlatch still be able to contain him? There's only one way to find out.
