The Maple Grove Red Dragons were the 47-41 winner over the Clymer Central Pirates when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The game between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Maple Grove falling 47-29. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Jonathan Massing, who scored seven points along with 18 rebounds and two blocks for Clymer Central. Massing hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Kameron Einink was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Maple Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Clymer Central, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maple Grove will take on Brocton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clymer Central, they will be playing at home against Westfield at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westfield is coming into the game hot, having won their last 11 games.
