Meanwhile, Northwest Webster can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 72-50 margin over Pocahontas. Given Northwest Webster's advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Pocahontas is ranked 323rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Greene County has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season. As for Northwest Webster, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.
