Greene County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Northwest Webster likes a good challenge.
Greene County pushed their score all the way to 64 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 72-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Perry. Greene County has struggled against Perry recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Northwest Webster can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 72-50 margin over Pocahontas. Given Northwest Webster's advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Pocahontas is ranked 323rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Greene County has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season. As for Northwest Webster, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.
