Walker put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They wrapped up 2024 with a 48-30 victory over the Oak Hill Rams.

Walker's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kadyn Green, who posted 16 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Green is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of La'Shantae Clay, who had four points along with six assists and five steals.

Walker was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Hill only racked up five assists.

Oak Hill's loss came despite strong showings from Jodie Jowers and Lainee Johnson. Jowers went 5 of 12 on her way to 12 points in addition to eight boards and four steals, while Johnson put up 11 points along with seven boards and three steals. That was a full 40% of Oak Hill's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Walker's victory was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Oak Hill, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-5.

Walker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-29 win against Alexandria on the 28th. As for Oak Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-67 victory against Dutchtown on the 31st.
