Sachse had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They breezed by the Garland Owls to the tune of 68-27. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Garland saw an underclassman step up: freshman Zoe Sample posted four points and ten rebounds. Sample is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last four games she's played.

Sachse has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Garland, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Sachse wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-27 victory against Wylie on the 11th. As for Garland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-30 win against South Garland on the 11th.
