Buckeye is a perfect 9-0 against Valley Forge since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bucks are taking a road trip to face off against the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Buckeye has six straight wins, Valley Forge has 12 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday, Buckeye made easy work of Normandy and carried off a 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bucks, who have now won ten games by nine runs or more so far this season.
Kwynn Czerwony made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sarah Michaels, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 14 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Metter, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
Buckeye always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Normandy only posted an OBP of .250.
North Olmsted hit Valley Forge with a ten-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Patriots took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.
Buckeye pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for Valley Forge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
Buckeye took their win against Valley Forge when the teams last played on April 3rd by a conclusive 18-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bucks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
