Ider waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Valley Head Tigers 17-2. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won 14 matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Ider let Taylor Kidwell and Axl Williams run wild. Kidwell got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Williams got on base in three of his five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Kidwell has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was RJ Young, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Ider always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .558. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valley Head only posted an OBP of .385.

Ider's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Valley Head, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
