Garces Memorial and Wasco are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Rams will head out to take on the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Garces Memorial is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Garces Memorial is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Chavez 23-1 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won three matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.
Jaiden Gutierrez looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Reese Bowles was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Izzy Frye also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.
Garces Memorial kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Wasco earned an 8-5 victory over Tulare Union on Monday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Tribe recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Alyssa Flores was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Flores was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Flores wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kate Campos, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Ayvah Romero was another, going 1-for-3 with three runs.
Garces Memorial's record is now 4-0. As for Wasco, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Garces Memorial skirted past Wasco 2-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
