The West Hills Wolf Pack can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 55-47 win over Santana. That's another feather in the cap for West Hills, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
West Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Vince Hillman led the charge by scoring 19 points. The game was Hillman's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Shaw, who scored 14 points.
West Hills' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12. As for Santana, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.
West Hills and Granite Hills will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Santana, they will head out on the road to face off against Monte Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Monte Vista's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
