Liberty is 9-1 against Asotin since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lancers will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Liberty has eight straight wins, Asotin has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Saturday, Liberty made easy work of Inchelium and carried off a 15-1 victory. Fans of the Lancers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Jordyn Jeske was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season.

Liberty was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .368 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Asotin duked it out with Colton on Monday. The Panthers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 11-9. Asotin's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Liberty has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.3 hits per game. It's a different story for Asotin, though, as they've been averaging 13.8 hits. Given Liberty's sizable advantage in that area, the Panthers will need to find a way to close that gap.
Liberty got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Asotin by a conclusive 10-1 score. Do the Lancers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
