The Lawrence Tigers and the Hartford Indians will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Lawrence narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Colts 47-45.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lawrence to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noel Saldana, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Saldana has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ben McCaw, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Hartford scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bangor 76-37 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Hartford has managed all season.
Lawrence has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Hartford, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
