Eliseo Molina, Dobie's leading hitter, solidified his role on Friday. Molina went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Dobie's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 8-11 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Molina and Dobie will venture away from home to face off against Sam Rayburn at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns are a perfect 10-0 against the Texans going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
