Fairfield extended their winning streak to seven on Tuesday, bumping them up to 12-6-1. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Teague Lions, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since February 19th.
Haylee Allen made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March of 2025.
