St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They put the hurt on Dayton with a sharp 56-32 victory.
St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse was led to victory by Matthew DeFord and Braiden Thomas. DeFord scored 13 points, while Thomas scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Brewer, who scored 10 points.
St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Dayton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse will head out on the road to face off against Colton at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Colton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Dayton, they will be playing at home against Pomeroy at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
