On Friday Ballard take on Cleveland at 7:00 PM. Ballard are the favorites in this one -- although they were the favorites in their last match, too, so the odds might count for a little less.
Ballard fought the good fight in their overtime contest last Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Roosevelt by a score of 27-30. It was a tough break for Ballard, who improved upon an already decent score from two weeks ago but lost both times.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Cleveland ultimately got the result it was hoping for. They put the hurt on Sammamish with a sharp 34-13 win. The win was a breath of fresh air for Cleveland as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Cleveland's victory lifted them to 1-3 while Ballard's defeat dropped them down to 3-3. We'll find out if Cleveland can add another positive mark to their record or if Ballard can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Cleveland's step.
