The Miller Rebels will venture away from home to square off against the Indian Springs COYOTES at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Miller turned things around against San Bernardino on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 34-16 victory over the Cardinals. The Rebels' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jacob Sauceda had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 175 yards and three scores while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Miller's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 0-4 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Rasura, who rushed for 50 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Miller was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 263 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Meanwhile, Indian Springs beat Pacific 28-20 on Friday. The COYOTES haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Miller better keep an eye on Damien Johnson. He was instrumental in Indian Springs' win, rushing for 72 yards and one TD, while also picking up 71 receiving yards and one score.
One reason for the win was Indian Springs' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Derrick Jones, Kalel Hudson, and Pablo Escobar, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Indian Springs' record is now 5-2. As for Miller, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5.
Miller came up short against Indian Springs in their previous meeting back in September, falling 20-14. Can the Rebels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
