Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour entered their tilt with Addison on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 15-1 win. Considering the Storm have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Paige Ells made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Izzy Bellavigna was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Signor, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Addison only posted an OBP of .318.

Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Addison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour will face off against Palmyra-Macedon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Addison, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alfred-Almond at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
