Sidney is 8-2 against Stebbins since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sidney Yellowjackets will head out on the road to face off against the Stebbins Indians at 7:15 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Sidney took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 54-24 win over Xenia. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sidney.
Meanwhile, Stebbins had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Piqua with a 33-27 victory on Friday. The victory was just what Stebbins needed coming off of a 61-38 loss in their prior contest.
Stebbins can attribute much of their success to Bryson Bishop, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Jessiah Brown was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Sidney now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Stebbins, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2.
Sidney came up short against Stebbins in their previous meeting back in January, falling 65-56. Can Sidney avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
