Taryn Hernandez was a major factor in Clinton's victory over Ida on Tuesday. Nobody could stop Hernandez as she tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Hernandez and Clinton will take on Northwest at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mounties will enter the matchup having just beaten Hastings, so the Redwolves will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
