Porter had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Mounds Golden Eagles by a score of 45-33. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Porter's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Mounds, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Porter will venture away from home to take on Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
