Ninilchik was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
When it comes to explaining why Ninilchik lost, one person who can't be blamed is Riley Tucker. Despite the final result, she scored 21 points. That was a full 52.5% of Ninilchik's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Addi McCorison was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Ninilchik's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Non Varsity Opponent, their victory bumped their record up to 106-195.
Ninilchik will head out on the road to face off against the Seahawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
