The Jordan-Elbridge Eagles entered their tilt with the Institute of Tech Eagles with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Jordan-Elbridge came out on top against Institute of Tech by a score of 69-58 on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Jordan-Elbridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Erin Lavancha, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lavancha has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Hildebrant, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Jordan-Elbridge is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Institute of Tech, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Skaneateles the next time they take the court. Jordan-Elbridge will head out to face Skaneateles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while Institute of Tech will host them at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th.
