Meanwhile, Lena/Aquinas have had to suffer through a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took the matchup and then some with a 44-7 win over Oneida Nation. With Lena/Aquinas ahead 22-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy to 3-4 and Lena/Aquinas to 2-5. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
