The Ocoee Knights entered their tilt with the Orange Park Raiders with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Ocoee slipped by Orange Park 52-51 on Saturday. That's two games straight that Ocoee has won by exactly a single point.
Ocoee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Micah Hannah, who scored 30 points along with two steals. Hannah is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Reese Bellamy was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 16 rebounds and six steals.
Ocoee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Orange Park, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ocoee will take on Olympia at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Olympia focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Thursday. As for Orange Park, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Sandalwood at 6:00 p.m. Sandalwood is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
