The Sterlington Panthers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They were outmatched by Wossman at home and fell 90-35. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sterlington has scored all season.
Sterlington's loss came despite strong showings from Memphis Singleton and Cooper Nelson. Singleton scored 11 points, while Nelson scored nine points.
Sterlington's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Wossman, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing North Webster the next time they take the court. Sterlington will head out to face North Webster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Wossman will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
