Farmington proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 17) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Aztec Tigers. For the Scorpions, this counts as revenge for the 12-11 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Sandoval wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Alba Allen, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
