Andrew Valey gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. Timber Creek Regional had no answer to Valey as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over 5.1 innings pitched. Valey has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Valey and Gloucester County Tech will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Kingsway at 4:00 p.m. Valey had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in March 6-5.
