Forest Hills can attribute much of their success to Layla Rushing, who dropped a triple-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and ten steals, and Leyah Melton, who on her way to 18 points along with six assists and six boards. Rushing has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 17 times she's played. Dalila Rorie was another key player, putting up ten points.

Forest Hills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 41 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, West Stanly came up short against Piedmont on Tuesday and fell 54-41.
