The Ross Little Giants will head out on the road to take on the Whitmer Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Ross will be strutting in after a win while Whitmer will be coming in after a loss.
Ross can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 62-35 win over Napoleon at home. With Ross ahead 42-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Whitmer came up short against Perrysburg on Thursday and fell 40-31. Whitmer has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ross pushed their record up to 11-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Whitmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Ross beat Whitmer 39-27 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ross since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
