Olympic is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Bremerton 14-2 on Thursday. The Trojans have beaten the Knights the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.

Olympic let Drew Walters and Chase Beninger run wild. Walters got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one triple, while Beninger went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Olympic is 3-1 when Beninger posts three or more RBI, but 0-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Nate Payfer, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs.
Olympic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Foss came up short against Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, falling 24-2.
Foss saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Randy Brown, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That hit was Brown's first of the season.
Foss' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Olympic, the victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 3-5.
Foss' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Olympic has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game.
