The Olympia Titans had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 34-20 win over West Orange. For Olympia, this counts as revenge for the 37-14 defeat West Orange walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Romelo Ware was his usual excellent self, rushing for 303 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per carry. Ware was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards.
Despite the loss, West Orange saw an underclassman step up: Larry Miles picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Olympia's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for West Orange, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Olympia will head out on the road to face off against South Lake at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. The timing isn't great for South Lake: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Olympia has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. West Orange will take on Osceola at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
