2A District 4 recap October 29, 2013
Foundation Academy and Montverde Academy played the closest game in 2A District 4 this week, with Foundation Academy eventually emerging with a 28-27 victory. Alec Thompson threw for 186 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 22 yards during the win.
Agape Christian Academy fell to Crescent City 41-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Victory Christian Academy's Caleb Lewis and Nekari Jones led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-4 quarterback Lewis has thrown for 1,552 yards this season, while Jones has 49 catches for 574 yards. The Lions' Gabriel Walker leads the league in rushing yards with 624.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Foundation Academy takes on the Saints. As it stands, Brad Lord's team is in second, while Agape Christian Academy is in third.
The Storm led 2A District 4 in scoring this week by notching 33 points on the Storm.
