The Keenan Raiders will look to defend their home field against the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Keenan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Gray Collegiate Academy likes a good challenge.
Keenan can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent matchup last Thursday. They breezed by Mid-Carolina on the road to the tune of 42-14. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Keenan had established a 20 point advantage.
Keenan had a senior duo take command as Evan Artemus rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns and Keimareyn Smith rushed for 25 yards and two touchdowns. Artemus hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for three straight games. Jaelin Spencer also helped out with an impressive 82 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Gray Collegiate Academy is ranked highly in their home state, and last Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of IMG Academy. Gray Collegiate Academy took a serious blow against IMG Academy, falling 53-7. Gray Collegiate Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-7.
Keenan's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 4-4. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.33 points. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Keenan suffered a grim 56-34 defeat to Gray Collegiate Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Will Keenan have more luck at home instead of on the road?
