Siletz Valley had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Friday they take on St. Paul at 7:00 PM. Siletz Valley are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
After a dominant win in their matchup two weeks ago, Siletz Valley were humbled. They fell to Falls City/Kings Valley Charter 22-34. Siletz Valley's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, St. Paul put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Waldport 70-12. The victory was familiar territory for St. Paul, who now have six in a row.
St. Paul's win lifted them to 6-0 while Siletz Valley's loss dropped them down to 3-1. St. Paul have been dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 52.17 points per game. We'll see if Siletz Valley can find some way to disarm them.
