This season hasn't been kind to the Hancock Panthers, who are still winless after their fifth matchup. They were beaten by North Hagerstown 46-13 on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hancock has scored all season.
Hancock's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keelyn Seal, who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Seal has scored all season.
Hancock bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for North Hagerstown, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Hancock's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Fort Hill at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. North Hagerstown is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Governor Thomas Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on January 2nd. Governor Thomas Johnson comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
