Baseball Recap: Livonia Wins Going Away Against Dansville

Livonia won against Avon on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Dansville Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Kaidan O'Connor was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. O'Connor was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Brady O'Keefe was incredible, going 3-for-2 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Seth Eadie, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Livonia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

Livonia's record now sits at 10-3. As for Dansville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Livonia will head out on the road to challenge Haverling at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Dansville, they will square off against Newark at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
