It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-50, which was the final score in Greenwood's tilt against Franklin-Simpson last week. Greenwood were down by 7-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, it's about time: Barren County finally caught a break after 3 consecutive losses. They dodged a bullet, finishing off Monroe County 21-20.
Barren County's win lifted them to 1-3 while Greenwood's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. We'll see if Barren County's success rolls on or if Greenwood are able to steal their positive momentum.
