Riverhead barely beat Central Islip the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Waves' pitchers stepped up to hand the Musketeers a 21-0 shutout on Tuesday. The contest marked the Blue Waves' most dominant victory of the season.

Riverhead's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Central Islip, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Riverhead will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Musketeers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
