Meanwhile, Yucaipa suffered a tough 79-57 loss at the hands of Summit on Tuesday.
Yucaipa's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Malik Young, who scored 17 points, and Jonathan Campbell who scored nine points along with eight rebounds. The game was Young's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Yucaipa struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
The win got Victor Valley back to even at 5-5. As for Yucaipa, they bumped their record down to 4-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Victor Valley hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 57.8 points per game. It's a different story for Yucaipa, though, as they've been averaging only 60 points per game. The only thing between Victor Valley and another offensive beatdown is Yucaipa.
