This season hasn't been kind to the Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers, who are still winless after their fourth match. They were beaten by Regents 57-27 on Thursday. Fresta Valley Christian has not had much luck with Regents recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Regents found their leader in underclassman Kaileen Harlow, who scored 26 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Harlow has scored at least a third of Regents' points. Kiara Bullard was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Fresta Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Regents, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fresta Valley Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain View Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on February 9th. Regents won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against United Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th.
