The Lynn English Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Malden 70-29 on the road. With Lynn English ahead 44-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.
It was another big night for Kyle Kemembin, who scored 19 points along with five assists and five steals. Louis Ledesma was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Lynn English's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.8 points per game. As for Malden, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynn English will take on Medford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Medford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 256th, while Lynn English is ranked 77th). As for Malden, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Everett at 6:00 p.m.
