West Valley is a perfect 10-0 against Anderson since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will face off against the Cubs at 4:30 p.m. West Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
West Valley's last matchup with University Prep could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-5. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 18, 2024, but that streak is no more.
Aubree Wertz put in work no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and nine unearned) runs off ten hits. Wertz was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Anderson's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: West Valley has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .445. It's a different story for Anderson, though, as they've only averaged .344. Will they be able to contain West Valley's hitters?
Everything went West Valley's way against Anderson in their previous meeting back in April, as West Valley made off with a 23-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
