Somerset Academy came tearing into  Thursday's  contest with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   73-64  win over the Calusa Prep Colts.  Somerset Academy had a senior duo take command as  Jayden Alcine  went 8 of 17  en route to 23  points along with seven  boards and six  steals and  Mekhi Hudson-Dillard  went 5 of 11  on his way to 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Alcine has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jahlon Blain, who  posted 13  points.
Somerset Academy pushed their record up to 7-2 with the  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 73.4 points per game. As for Calusa Prep,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-3.
 Somerset Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  76-53  win against Key West on the 20th. As for Calusa Prep,  it'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when  the Calusa Prep Colts  face off against   the Palm Beach Central Broncos at 5:45  p.m.  on December 27th.
